Second Life Computer Remanufacturing Announces Grand Opening of Electronic Recycling Center in Atlanta

Pittsburgh-Based Company Opens New Location to Serve Atlanta Market

Atlanta – July 27, 2011 – Second Life Computer Remanufacturing has announced that it will celebrate the grand opening of its new Atlanta electronic recycling center, located at 820 Cobb Parkway, Marietta, Ga., on Saturday, July 30, from 9 a.m to 5 p.m.

Second Life accepts used computers, laptops and monitors, and will give store credit for these items. Electronics are then refurbished and are sold at the store for a discount, given to nonprofit organizations, or sold to developing countries in need of computers.

“According to the EPA, computers are now the fastest growing category of solid waste in this country,” says Mary Tiong, owner of Second Life Computer Remanufacturing. “At Second Life, we offer consumers a way to recycle their electronics, minimizing their negative impact on the environment, while providing computers to developing countries for an affordable price.”

Store hours are Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information, visit www.secondlifecomputer.com.
